formatDate Method

The date expression to format.
The localeId to create a specific Culture from.
The pattern to use for the format, eg. LongDate or ShortDate.
Formats the date by the parameters provided.
Syntax

   ByVal expression As String, _
   ByVal lcid As UShort, _
   ByVal pattern As String _
) As String
public string formatDate( 
   string expression,
   ushort lcid,
   string pattern
)

Parameters

expression
The date expression to format.
lcid
The localeId to create a specific Culture from.
pattern
The pattern to use for the format, eg. LongDate or ShortDate.
Remarks
It is recommended that the expression is always represented in the ISO8601 date time format.
Requirements

Target Platforms: Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
