Inheritance Hierarchy

The Cuemon.IO namespace consist of mostly utility classes, that was built to make extensive use of streams. Streams are common denominator through out the Cuemon family and are greatly optimized for performance and encoding handling.

A great addition to the existing System.IO namespace to make your daily operations easier to work with.

Classes
 ClassDescription
ClassFileBase Exposes an abstract interface for reading common properties of a file as well as content of the file.
ClassFileDependency This FileDependency class will monitor any changes occurred to files or directories while notifying subscribing objects.
ClassFileMapping Represents the mapping information that is needed to associate a given file extension with a content-type and vice-versa.
ClassFileUtility This utility class is designed to make various file related operations easier to work with.
ClassStreamConverter This utility class is designed to make System.IO.Stream related conversions easier to work with.
ClassStreamUtility This utility class is designed to make System.IO.Stream operations easier to work with.
ClassStreamWriterSettings Specifies a set of features to support on the System.IO.StreamWriter object created by the StreamWriterUtility.CreateStream method. This class cannot be inherited.
ClassStreamWriterUtility This utility class is designed to make System.IO.StreamWriter related operations easier to work with.
ClassTextReaderConverter This utility class is designed to make System.IO.TextReader related conversions easier to work with.
ClassXmlFile Exposes an interface for reading common properties of a XML file.
