StartsWith(String,StringComparison,IEnumerable<String>) Method

The System.String to compare.
One of the enumeration values that specifies the rules to use in the comparison.
A sequence of System.String values to match against.
Determines whether the beginning of an instance of System.String matches at least one string in the specified sequence of strings.

Parameters

value
The System.String to compare.
comparison
One of the enumeration values that specifies the rules to use in the comparison.
startWithValues
A sequence of System.String values to match against.

Return Value

true if at least one value matches the beginning of this string; otherwise, false.

Target Platforms: Windows 8, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, Windows Vista SP1 or later, Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2008 (Server Core not supported), Windows Server 2008 R2 (Server Core supported with SP1 or later), Windows Server 2003 SP2
